On a warm sunday afternoon an unchanged Cavs team arrived at Wooton Hall, with Tony Winning the toss and deciding to bat first.
Jc and Ross was asked to open after last weeks good solid start but Ross fell early on for a QUACK sopme very good bowling from both ends from the handlsope seamers especially the guy from the rugby pitch end, tony came in at 3 but Jc followed soon after (20) a little edge and caught well at 1st Slip low down. This Brought Glovesy to the crease with Cavs not off to a great start. But it got worse Tony also finding a little edge saw him back in the hut without really troubling the scorers aswell (6) Buck arrived to partner micky and both stayed there for a few overs, buck getting off the mark and gloves hitting a boundary but buck was easily caught at covers for 1.Neil came in and partnered with glovesy, but glovesy soon fell bowled for 6.AJ then got bowled but the bails didnt come off but still managed to get bowled soon after, neil fell aswell.leaving spinner and PP to rescure the innings slighly taking us from 47-7 to 86-8 when spinner was out.PP batted well hitting the bad bowl away to the ropes rolfy came in and hit 5 and ron fell soon after leaving PP not out on 23 leaving Cavs 102ao
tea was taken, this week saw no experimental sandwiches and back to basics
Jc and PP opened the bowling and bowled well putting alot of pressure on the batsmen without no luck,
spinner came on as did Rolfy but both couldnt get a wicket, with tony dropping a catch of spinners bowling AJ couldnt get a wicket either and Handslope won in the 22nd over. With Rolfy being dispached all over the ground!!
