Mobs vs Wellingborough
First and foremostly, please note, this is not me copying the great Flames skipper.
I think last night, for the first time since that epic game at Desborough last season, the team spirit was truly back within the mobs ranks. We talked, we jibed, we encouraged, and we played as a unit. If we continue that, we will not only compete like we did last night, we will win games as we go along.
We played against a strong side, who expected to beat us easily. They didnt - FACT !!!!
Everyone played well, and contributed. (well except for Yorkie but he contributed to the fines fund )
Dozza - Superb fielding, good banter, and another duck ! (love you Dozza! )
Swanny - This boy isnt a bad fielder, apparently he can bat too!
Tommo - Tommo is settling nicely into the Mobs way of playing, shame he bats like its a test match, give it time we will re-train him!!!!
Loaky - Kept well again, like a whippet when running singles, theres a big score coming from him soon!!
TK - Another who is settling in well, very competitive, been unlucky not getting the wickets he deserves so far
Shrew - Fantastic in the field, good catch, sound blocking, scored quickly and positively.
Milos - Wasnt his (K)night, but still stuck to the job in hand, another who has a big performance just waiting to pop out
Ryan - Young and raw, but learning rapidly. Another player who will turn a game on its head single handedly at some stage this season.
Yorkie - despite arriving late fielded well, bowled well, and got stuck in there.
Dan - Some great stops from the "sir", another asset to the club.
Skip went home proud last night, a few more efforts like that, and all will be well.

Re: Mobs vs Wellingborough
CAN HONESTLY ADMIT THAT I HAVE NEVER "CHOCKED MY CHICKEN". LIKE MOST OF US HAVE BASHED THE ODD BISHOP, FLOGGED THE DOLPHIN, AND BEAT THE BADGER (SORRY Ducky Boy), BUT NEVER CHOCKED MY OR ANYONES CHICKEN. SORRY TO DISAPPOINT.
