Montagu Old Boys played their latest Geddington Midweek League game at Geddington against Stumps, Montagu Old Boys were under the reigns of acting skipper Mark Thomas for the night as they looked to bounce back from last week's defeat to the Flames.

Mobs made 141-8 off their 14 Overs, Paul Smith (71) top scored for the hosts, with Matt Peleszok (18) and Derek Paterson (13) were the other main run scorers in the Mobs innings.

Stumps fell short by 8 runs, depsite the 70 from Bradley Armer and the 43 from Lee Richardson, Ollie Toseland took two wickets, but the hero for the Mobs was Miles Knight who claimed figures of 3-0-22-4 which included two important wickets in the final over of Armer and Marc Jackson, Thomas Pearson and Smith bowled very well, the nice four points to take away from this game.
