Club Insurance Empty Club Insurance

Post  Buck Tue Mar 23, 2010 5:47 pm

Hi all

Something that I have been thinking about over the last couple weeks is the subject of insurance. Obviously it is not out of the realms of possibility that someone could sustain an injury while playing cricket. We as a club of our size and nature cannot, and don't plan to carry ay sort of club insurance, as this would undoubtedly raise the amount of monies needed to be charged as a club membership fee, or through subs. Therefore if you wish to insure yourselves on an individual basis then that is your choice, and if not then again your choice.

I just wanted to make it perfectly clear that the club carries no responsibility for any injuries, and no insurance against any injuries. If there is a great demand for club insurance rather than individual insurance I am sure some investigation can be done, but I would recomend that individual cover will be simpler and cheaper as you can all choose the level of cover that you require.

If you have any questions regarding the above then please get in touch.

Regards

Buck.
