The Local Area Forecast for Northamptonshire


Some fairly extensive mist blankets the county this morning, but this should clear slowly to allow for some spells of sunshine. However, some fairly heavy and thundery showers are on their way and these will start to affect the county during the course of the late afternoon. Some torrential downpours are possible causing some localised flooding and poor visibility on roads. It will be a warm and humid day with temperatures climbing to around 24C. The wind will remain light, freshening from the west later this evening. Any remaining showers should have cleared the county by this evening and a dry night will follow with lows falling to 11C.
