I would also like to say that we will hopefully be seeing a few new players this year as discussed at the AGM its important that we keep the flow of players coming through the ranks.

Thats not to say we will be forgetting about the other players we have known and loved down the years that arent featured in the opening first eleven.

Everyone will get there chance to shine this year, even if that only means looking for lost balls with a torch kev!

So heres to a good season lets hope the sun shines, and we remain injury free!

Theres some good poundage in that opening partnership !!

I can't believe the skipper has chosen the finest specimen of men within the team to open the batting. It will be the only opening partnership on record that go out with runners.

I'm looking forward to those lightning quick singles to get our innings under way, drinks after 4 overs, oxygen after 8 and hospital after 16.....

The only thing lightning quick about the "batsmen" in the side is the speed they get themselves out !

What's the start time on Sunday

having consulted our slightly drunken sounding fixtures secretary, he has advised me that we should be there in time for a 1.30 start.

please arrive as early as poss to assist in setting up etc. if poss, cheers guys

right just to answer a few points.....

I WASNT SLIGHTLY DRUNK......

phil and tony hospital at 16 overs? we will be having tea by then!!

ALL games are 2pm start altough generally people should be there about 1/2hour before kick off time we will start as soon as we can........if that makes buck happy ( he requested earlier starts!)

Part from first 2 and last 2 games where we try and start at half one (ish) cus of light etc etc

ALSO Stoneleigh away is a 2.30pm start tryed changing it to 2pm but they wouldnt be ready then as iam sure you can recall they had players still turning up at 2.20!

PLEASE ALSO NOTE SUNDAYS GAME WILL BE ON THE MAT!!! I DOUBT VERY MUCH IF A SQUARE HAS BEEN CUT WITH ALL THIS RAIN ALTHOUGH IN HIGH SEASON WE CAN CHOOSE TO PLAY ON GRASS IF WE WANT AND THE PITCH IS DEEMED PLAYABLE.

Also Smurker wont be able to umpire for the first 3 weeks as he gota go footy with matty but brown owl will be there doing teas dunno which is worse!
